Closing....For Now...

Hey Guys,
I wanted to let you all know that for the time being, I have decided to shut down 32nd Street Blog Boutique. I've LOVED making all of your writing spaces look pretty, but for right now, blog design isn't fitting into my schedule.

So, I will post my last few designs sometime in the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your support, and I'll see y'all later!

My New Venture and a Great Ministry

Finished with some more designs! First off, I finally started a photography blog for myself! I've been planning on it for a few months now, but it's finally done and I'm having a BLAST filling it up. Stop by and let me know what you think!

Secondly, I would like to tell you about a fantastic lady who has started this great ministry for bloggers called "Shoulders". In her words:

This blog is all about encouraging those in need of a little push. We'll feature one blogger in each post. Followers will be strongly encouraged to leave a comment at every blog. They aren't required to follow, or even really to pray for the bloggers. They are only asked to comment, and the rest is up to them.

I remember one day when I sat down at my computer feeling really down and opened my dashboard to see I had 13 comments. Yes, they were all from the same person who was doing some catching up, but it made my day. I'd love to give that same experience to other bloggers, only drastically amplified. Wouldn't it be awesome to sit down to a thousand comments? Maybe you don't have a thousand followers, but a thousand people thought of you today, and a thousand people took time out of their day to send you some encouraging words.

Doesn't that sound great!? Well, she's just started this ministry, so be sure to consider following so that you can join in on the cause of giving other bloggers encouragement and a little love. She is currently accepting emails with suggestions of people to feature, so if you have someone in mind, make sure to contact her!

Happy Autumn! Lots of Designing to be Done!

I've been buuuuusy designing! I have 4 new makeovers to share with you today.

Firstly, I got to do a design for my special friend Olivia! She is one of the most fun and spunky people I know. We met almost exactly a year ago, and in the time we've been friends she has blessed me in many many ways. Isn't God great to connect us with such fantastic people over the web?!

Olivia's Blog - Nobody 416

Speaking of Olivia...she and I started a blog together in February called Imperishable Beauty. It was one of my first design projects, but I've just recently done a facelift on it, so I hope you'll stop by and tell me what you think!

Imperishable Beauty

My mom's a fantastic photographer and has been posting her pictures on her blog - Dancing Barefoot on Weathered Ground - but recently she decided that she was going to dedicate a whole page of her website to her photos. Isn't that fun?! So, I did some experimenting and came up with my very first animated header! Aren't you all proud of me? Check it out and while you're at it, take a look-see at my momma's gorgeous pictures.

And lastly, I did a little renovation on my blog to make it look cozy and autumnal. ^_^ So, hop on over and check it out!

Lollipop & Pearls

Sorry people! I have been neglecting this blog because life has been just CRAZY lately! Anyway, I wanted to share a blog with you that I designed a while back.

Lollipop & Pearls

Lisa (a.k.a. "Lolli") is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet in the blogosphere! She has such a tender heart for people who are hurting and can always be counted on to lift people up in prayer who are in need of it. Stop by and say hello!

P.S. More to come soon! I promise!

Raising Arrows Giveaway Winner

Amy's blog design giveaway is over, and the winner is....*drumroll*

I just met this girl last week, and in fact, she just wrote her first blog post on July 31. I'm so very excited to see the kind of work God does through her blog, because she is the SWEETEST person! Head over to her blog and read her 100 Things post to get to know her a bit, and make sure to follow. In the meantime, I'll be busy working out the details of her blog makeover with her! So excited to get started!

Congratulations Miji!

The Tender Scribe

My newest makeover was done for Michelle @ The Tender Scribe. Michelle is an INCREDIBLE woman who has been a part of many different ministries to children (her own, adopted, and foster children). In her words...

"I am married and a mother of 4. In 2004, after 17 years, we retired from foster parenting so we could spend more time with the two daughters we adopted (we have two older sons). I've been working on my weaving and knitting, and my book Foster Parenting the Medically Fragile Child is finally finished! I also enjoy researching my family history. Two of our kids have serious medical challenges. Our son is affected by Glycogen Storage Disease (a genetic liver disorder), and our daughter is affected by Arthrogryposis, L4-L5 paralysis, and Cerebral Palsy."

Make sure to stop by and take a look into her day to day life.
